Research Peptide FAQ

Common questions about buying research peptides in Massachusetts and New Hampshire - purity testing, Certificates of Analysis, shipping, policies, and more.

What is Boston Amino LLC?

Boston Amino LLC is a Massachusetts-based distributor of high-purity research peptides for laboratory research and development use only. We serve universities, biotech companies, and independent researchers across Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and every batch we sell ships with a third-party Certificate of Analysis.

Do you ship research peptides in Massachusetts and New Hampshire?

Yes. We ship research peptides throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire - including Boston, Worcester, Cambridge, Lowell, and Andover in MA, and Manchester, Nashua, Concord, and Portsmouth in NH - as well as to research customers elsewhere in the United States. Orders are placed through our secure online store.

What does "research use only" (RUO) mean?

Research use only means the products we distribute are intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research and development. They are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food, and they are not intended for human or animal consumption or for any diagnostic or therapeutic use. By ordering, you confirm you are a qualified researcher using the material for lawful research purposes.

Are the peptides tested? What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

Every lot is independently tested by HPLC for purity (typically ≥99%) and by mass spectrometry to confirm identity. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is the lab report documenting those results for a specific batch. You can look up any lot number in our COA Library and download the full report, and a matching COA is attached to every order.

How do I verify the COA for my order?

Each product ships with a batch-matched COA, and every certificate lists the lot number, test date, testing method, and results. You can cross-check the lot number on the vial against the COA in our online COA Library at /peptidecoa/. If anything does not match, contact us and we will resolve it.

How pure are the research peptides?

The research peptides we distribute are typically ≥99% pure by HPLC, with mass-spectrometry confirmation of identity. Exact purity for a given lot is stated on that lot's Certificate of Analysis.

How should research peptides be stored?

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) research peptides are generally stored cold and away from light for stability; specific handling guidance is provided with each product for laboratory use. Storage and handling are the responsibility of the receiving laboratory.

How do I place an order, and what payment methods do you accept?

Browse products on our site and order through our secure online store, which handles checkout and payment. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. All orders are subject to our Research Use Only Policy and Terms of Service.

What is your shipping turnaround?

Orders are typically processed quickly and shipped with tracking. Peptides are packaged to preserve stability in transit. Shipping options and estimated delivery are shown at checkout.

What is your return, refund, and cancellation policy?

Because these are research chemicals, returns are limited for safety and integrity reasons. Full details - including when cancellations, replacements, or refunds apply - are on our Refund & Cancellation Policy page at /refund-policy/.

Is Boston Amino LLC a compounding pharmacy?

No. Boston Amino LLC is a distributor of research chemicals. We are not a compounding pharmacy or chemical compounding facility as defined under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and we are not an outsourcing facility as defined under Section 503B.

Can I buy research peptides for personal or human use?

No. The products we distribute are sold strictly for laboratory research and development use only and are not for human or animal consumption. They have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
